Some workplaces need more than a functional desk – they need a desk that also looks right and holds its quality year after year. Chare, designed by Wingårdhs Arkitekter, is the height-adjustable desk that meets that need. Ergonomics and design are treated as one – not as two separate compromises.
The mechanical parts are integrated into the design and reinforce the overall impression with a subtle wood-inspired feel. Softly rounded corners make the work surface safe and welcoming, and the integrated front screen is clad with soft seams. For those who prefer a classic expression, a rectangular variant is also available.
All components and materials come from Nordic suppliers – a choice that gives high and controllable quality, shorter transport chains and a desk designed to be just as relevant in ten years as today.

Wingårdh Arkitektkontor AB is one of Sweden's most renowned architecture firms, with offices in Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm. The firm was founded by Gert Wingårdh and works with everything from public buildings to detailed product commissions.
Chare is the result of a close collaboration with SA Möbler – where the architect's understanding of space, material and people meets our experience of furniture manufacturing and everyday use.
